L.C Smith Shotgun?

I recently was given a L.C double barrel shotgun with exposed hammers. I'm thinking it's a twenty gauge. It's in ok shape, stock has very minor scratch on it. It has a # of 25763 on the under side. How much is something like this worth and how old would it be. Any info would be great....Thank You
