Hawes made these revolvers in the 1960's and 70's. They made large caliber center fire guns in blue called "Western Marshall", in nickel called "Texas Marshall" and in blue with brass trigger guard and backstrap called "Montana Marshall". They also made .22cal guns in blue called "Western Marshall" in nickel with an adjustable for windage rear sight called "Silver city Marshall" and like yours in nickle called "Western six-shooter". The .22cal are made out of some kind of alloy with a steel barrel insert and steel cylinder inserts. The grips on the "Western Six-Shooter" are fake mother-of-pearl made out of plastic. The year 2000 Standard Catalog of Firearms Collector Price and Reference Guide by Ned Schwing lists on page 499 and 500, the "Silver City Marshall" at $25 for a poor one to $125 for an exellent one. $75 to $175 for a "Western Marshall" and $75 to $185 for a "Texas Marshall" I would assume the 2001 prices would have gone up $5 or $10. I have purchased these things at gun shows for as low as 2 for $199 for the "Western Six Shooter" and for as high as $350 for an unfired "Western Marshall" in 45 Colt. If you still have yours and really want to sell it, I would be interested in buying depending on the condition.
