A western six-shooter is just a nickel plated Hawes Western Marshall .22 cal. They were made by J. P. Sauer & Sohn in west germany. The nickel plating doesn't add to the value. The 2000 gun prices book I have lists the Western Marshall in exellent condition at $125. I recently bought two of them for $199. I've been watching a guy at the local gun shows trying to sell one with the nickel flaking off for about 6 months now. He is asking $250 and hasn't had any takers.
